Mission Statement
Glitter is a private, self-moderated community dedicated to DIY lifestyle and crafting. People here are welcome to discuss any topic that touches on how they make their life.

This community is based on mutual respect, tolerance for difference, and a good dose of empathy. Disagreements, heated debates, and thoughtful arguments are appreciated. Screaming, flaming, hurling insults are not. We do not support hate speech of any kind.

We are an open community that supports sexual diversity, racial diversity and lifestyle diversity. Feminism is a defining value. Because we are DIY and craft focused we celebrate people living in alternative ways, choosing to consume less, and making non-traditional families. If you can't deal with it then get off these boards.

Statements against any of these communities or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated on these boards. We reserve and exercise the right to delete content and ban users in any such cases.
