I have been hung up on some slooooow projects (sewing, and um, finishing the G* zine, which I am having a mental block about). So yesterday I decided I needed a project that would only take an hour or two, and I decorated my Burning Man bike.

The part I'm most excited about are the handlebar streamers. The ribbons are really cool and one of them has little cute owls on it. Oh and the pink wrapped stuff on the frame is el wire so it glows at night.

What'd you finish up this week?

Oooh, ponyj, your bike's making me jealous. Even without the decorations (which are awesome), it's such a pretty colour! Did it arrive like that, or did you paint it?

Lady_Stardust, your knitting skills never fail to impress me; those socks are fab.

Nice bike and socks!

I moved back into being a beader and not just a magpie (collecting pretty things) and made a few necklaces. Note they're all purple and turquoise! ha ha

And on Wednesday I went to an event at a fancy paper store to make cards:

That is the prettiest bike ever!
And the socks are fabulous!
Love the necklace with the flower.

I've been working on Olympics-inspired shrink plastic jewelry:
