Use it for anything that requires mixing!
The amazing thing is that you can get it started and just walk away...
It can be mixing and you can be grabbing the vanilla extract!
Remind me...are you vegan? _________________ I know it's not real, but lunchboxes

I was going to mention that they are great for beating eggs. I love to make meringue cookies with mine. And there are lots of recipes for fluffy pancakes than involve folding in egg whites.
Great for making whipped cream too!
I can post a cookie or pancake recipe later this weekend! _________________ I know it's not real, but lunchboxes

We use ours to knead bread dough, for making cookies, and cake batter. And definitely for whipped cream.
Don't be afraid! I know you can do it! _________________ my unoriginal blog

You can make homemade marshmallows!
That is the only thing I have ever used my stand mixer for, actually...
I need to get a dough hook so I can try using it for bread dough.
If you have a Kitchen Aid, there are a lot of cool attachments for pasta making, ice cream, grinding, etc.

| Careful when making whipped cream though. If you walk away for too long, you come back to butter and buttermilk =) |

You really can make anything!
Other than general cookies and cake, I've used my K!tchenAid for mashing potatoes, marshmallows, making pavlova and merengue, custards, pudding, creaming butter, pizza and bread dough. Really, anything and everything. |

I remember that thread too. Basically you can make anything, and it's way easier. Cakes, cookies, bread, fillings, frostings etc etc |

This is the recipe I have used.
Watch the temp when you are boiling the sugar/corn syrup/water. My friend and I let our go over by only a few degrees and our mixture burnt. On our second batch we watched the thermometer like hawks and all was good.
I also recommend smitten kitchen's graham cracker recipe to go with the marshmallows. S'mores heaven!
