I found the most wonderful little book! It's sort of like a heavy duty moleskine cahier, but with a tar paper cover and these awesome heavy duty pages. The inner pages are very light blue/grey, with a slight rule to them (more of a texture thing). I'm not sure if it's the best medium to convey "food for thought" because of the slight blue tint to the paper, but I'm going to think about it for a few days before jumping to any conclusion. Apparently there are pale yellow paged books too, but the store I visited didn't have any. _________________ i live at the foot of a mountain: some of my adventures |

I made mine - it's 4.25x5.5, black cardstock cover with white watercolor paper pages, deckled edges (i.e, I tore my watercolor paper in half but am trying to sound fancy). It's Japanese side-stitched, with aluminum tape over the spine. It's got one page for each participant, as I wanted it to be thin and not have any blank pages when complete. :)
I'll try to post pictures to the Flickr group tonight. |

That sounds lovely Crumb. :)
I found a cheap wanna-be moleskin at Walnart last night...it's kelly green and small and soft and we had extra money so I bought it! Lol.
I am so excited to start this. I actually already have some ideas for some people's books! _________________ ps- you're my favourite. We should be friends.--e |

Okay, I have the mail out circle organized. I just need to double check and make sure I have everyone's emails. If I don't, I'll post here to let you know! :) This is turning out to be an epic swap! _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. So I've settled on making my own book and picked out the paper & binding materials. But - how many pages should I include? _________________ I haven't killed anybody since 1984.

| I had to drop out due to time constraints, so that's why you won't find my book in the rotation. Sorry loves :( |

Boo!
gloomy - make it as many pages as you'd like! I'd maybe go with two pages per participant, at least. _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon

| Page # is a good question... There's enough pages in a cahir for everyone to do a whole spread in each, but want to double check with those who made their own if they included enough pages for each person to do a spread, or just one single side of a page. |

Nemesis! Where are you? I need you to reply to my email!
*hugs* to everyone. Don't forget to peek at our blog and "flitter" flickr! _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon
