I went bra shopping today. I tried on quite a few and ended up buying one. Got it home, tried it on again, and it seems I convinced myself it fit when it doesn't. So I guess that means I have to try on F cup bras now? This is bizarre to me. My boobs are not that big!
And don't even start me on the range of options (not) available in bigger cup sizes. _________________ kittens are cute, but a full-grown cat can be cuter

Feeling extremely misunderstood at work and at home today. And I can't stop crying about it even though I really want to stop crying. And I'm upset that my inability to get my point across to people about how I'm feeling and why I'm feeling it is making me think i need to just keep everything to myself. Even though everyone who doesn't understand me today is telling me I need to not hold things in. Utterly frustrated and tired. _________________ There were doves everywhere, and they were crying their asses off. |

Try Debenhams, their "fuller" bust range is pretty good and there's often discounts. I took every size from F to H in in one style and found the right bra. Then bought 3 as there was 20% off. _________________ http://twitter.com/gomarciego |

Thanks, pointandclick. It was Debenhams I went to, and you're right, the choice isn't that bad there. It was my fault I wound up with the wrong size, rather than the bras - I'll just have to go back at lunchtime Monday and try again. Glad you found something! _________________ kittens are cute, but a full-grown cat can be cuter

I feel like I've hardly seen my fiance this week. Or rather we've not had much time together without having to deal with other people. He's on a stag tonight which potentially means that tomorrow, the one day we have to spend together he will be hungover and so we won't get to do much again.
I'm going stir crazy and need to get out of the city. I need horizons that are far far away. _________________ http://twitter.com/gomarciego |

Shark week is starting, and the pre-shark week hormone craziness was pretty much the usual....but today I am tearing up at EVERYTHING. It's humorous, but also inconvenient... _________________ With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. |

I've been having a ROUGH couple of days, which have just be exasperated by finding out my damn ex bought a house after only looking for three weeks. I have been looking for three months and have come up short. (This is also parallel dating after the breakup: he got himself a new girlfriend a few weeks afterward, I've been looking and have found nada, not even a flirtation.)
Is it wrong to hope that the foundation of his new house sinks and/or wanting to release a family of rats into the walls of his new house? Sneak in before he moves in and beef shower the crap out of the place? Throw dead fish into the heating vents? _________________ Wenn's dir nicht gefällt, mach neu. |

my mom. oy.
It's her birthday coming up, a big one, and she won't give us a clue as to what she wants to do, or get as a gift. So my sister and I started planning something. My sister pulled in our grandparents, and now they've taken over. Which is fine, they're the ones with the money and we're all happy to have them footing the bill.
But my mom!! She won't tell anybody (but me apparently, and she made me promise not to tell anyone else) that THIS ISN'T WHAT SHE WANTS! And it's not too late to cancel - we're talking about Thanksgiving so we can still change our minds now and it doesn't matter. But she's just throwing up her arms and saying "oh well, it's not about me..." BUT YES IT FUCKING IS ABOUT YOU.
I told her to think about it some more, and that her new mantra is "be more selfish" but even saying those words makes her uncomfortable.
Geez, if there is ever a time you get to be selfish, it's when you're having a birthday that ends in a 0, right? _________________ Are you familiar with the old robot phrase "DOES NOT COMPUTE"? |

| I'm having an informal interview for a new job tomorrow morning and when I go to email a copy of my resume from G**gle Docs as a PDF, what does it do? Mess up the formatting! And of course, I didn't check it before I sent it, because I assumed it would stay the same. How professional! 'See how professional I am, with the header and body of my resume on two separate pages.' My brain is exploding. |

If it makes you feel any better, I realized after emailing mine out a few times that I had miss spelled my own major, and there was some weird formatting issues as well. It happens. If you can, format it correctly and then just re-email it with an apology about the formatting error. That stuff happens to everyone. _________________ old user, new name & profile. |

Got a custom order on Monday that I had to order the supplies for. Had to scramble to find them from a new supplier since my usual one wouldn't get them here in time.
They arrived today and are unusable. Not sure how this guy has 1000+ positive feedback when you can't do a thing with these findings without the color chipping off.
Just spent over an hour composing an "I'm sorry but I can't make you your necklace by when you need it after all" email, and am now waiting in complete terror for the sound of a response coming in. Please, please don't tell me how terrible a business I am and how you're going to leave me negative feedback and completely destroy me :( _________________ Rockin' Chainmail Jewelry!

I just slipped and fell down at work and I'm pretty sure I've done something terrible to my ankle. I roll my ankles and fall down all the time, but I've never felt something like this before. It's swelling all to hell, and it hurts like MAD, all the way around my foot and up my shin. It can't bear weight, and I had to take my sandal off because of the swelling.
Mr. Crumb has a meeting at 1:30 so he can't take me to the doctor until he's done. My boss is gone at a mediation, or I'd ask him. THAT'S how badly this hurts: I'm willing to have my BOSS take me to minor emergency so that someone can fix this and make it stop hurting. I'm trying to eat my lunch (that's what I was doing when I fell - getting lunch from the cafe in the lobby) but I keep having to stop so that I can cry.
This SUCKS, y'all. |

Can you manage to get a bucket of ice water? Stick your whole foot in it for as long as you can bear. It will help the swelling until you can get to the emergency clinic. |

Ouch! That sounds really bad. Definitely ice it if you can, and elevate it. And maybe consider taking a cab if it's really bad even after icing for a bit and that's an option? (lots of assumptions there, you're in an urban area and the hospital isn't too far that the cost would be ridiculous?) _________________ i live at the foot of a mountain: some of my adventures |
