| It's the weekend and I'm sick. Hanging in bed for most of the day except the run to the grocery store. Headed for nap #2, why can't this happen during the boring week at work! |

I still feel awful! One co-worker out on vacation, another out with family emergency, looooong day ahead (but painfully slow at work). I want to be at home in bed with my doggies curled up beside me (even if they snore loudly).
But I can't leave the office unmanned (there are only 3 of us here). I have guests coming over tomorrow so even after I get home (oh, around 8:30 tonight) I still have to make MrC a birthday cake and clean house. |

Ugh, yeah, me too. Well, it might just be a cold, but I feel rotten. And it's my birthday tomorrow, so I'm gonna be ill for that. Wah. _________________ kittens are cute, but a full-grown cat can be cuter

| Today is my best friend's 41st birthday. I ignored her invitation to go camping for her birthday this weekend, and today I am ignoring Facebook and everyone signing in for her birthday. I am meaning to seriously break off the friendship, or at least get a Come To Jesus reaction, and I am hoping ignoring of the birthday will illicit this. Still, I feel really terrible. I have never purposefully ignored someone's birthday before. And it's going to feel even shittier if she doesn't give enough of a shit about me ignoring her birthday to even bring it up. |

I'm getting really annoyed that we leave for Indiana in 2 days and some of our friends still haven't gotten back to us with their availability to visit (or they gave us some times that would work, and we said, ok, when would you like? and now one day doesn't work and they're going to discuss the other day...). These are people who were in our wedding party, are very good friends, we miss them horribly, etc. and it just sucks that they aren't being very responsive.
Also, we're splitting our time between A's mom's and my parents', and we've been able to give my parents a schedule (most of our time there is going to be spent with my 3 siblings, who were pretty proactive in scheduling time with us for the 4 days we'll be there!) but A's poor mom is still waiting for a schedule from us. I'm sure she'd like to know when we'll be there for dinner and when we need to borrow a car.
It's probably really no big deal, just my ridiculous control-freak self needing a schedule, but that almost makes me more annoyed (at me, not our friends). (But really, after we eat dinner, I ask A what our game plan for the time period between dinner and bed is! I feel so much less anxiety when I have a schedule.) _________________ With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. |

Hopefully you have peed by now, but I feel your pain. I have definitely brought my phone with me into the bathroom (on mute of course, after checking, double-checking, and triple-checking that I won't be heard on the line). _________________ <3 free range glitter pony <3

There's a barista-dude at the local coffee shop that I've had a a small, passing crush on but never really talked to that much. This morning we had a little fun banter and when the other barista mispronounced my name when calling out my drink, he corrected her. Totally nothing more than being a considerate person on his part, but I made a joke to my friends that "ZOMG, he is TOTALLY in love with me!!!!1!"
And then one of my friends, even though she knew it was a joke, listed off all the reasons it couldn't possibly be anything: he just wanted to make sure someone else didn't get confused and take my coffee, it's part of his job, he was just doing it to get a dig in at the other barista who is his ex (small town = everyone knows everyone's business). She kept going to the point that I was actually getting insulted. That my joke wasn't true ... even though that was the joke. _________________ Wenn's dir nicht gefällt, mach neu. |

| I am completely overwhelmed by life, to the point of feeling like I am moving through sludge. So, even though I have SO MUCH GOING ON, I feel like I'm at a standstill. I hate it. |

Poor Gemma ((Hugs)).
Also poor me, because your description of how things are for you is pretty much how I'm feeling at the moment. |

Babysitting a friend's dog at our house and she just took a GIANT crap on our gravel driveway. Guess the acres of yard weren't appetizing? _________________ Everyone thinks I do it to make people stare, but really, it's to keep them from looking too closely. |
