Actually, the original mailout date was set to be tomorrow, April 30. But it looks like some folks need some more time.
If I had to mail my set out, I'd need some extra time, too ... but I made some real progress today! It suddenly dawned on me that I didn't have to *choose* which of my ideas to do, I could combine them. Go, me!
So mine are perking along, and I'm getting excited to see what the rest of you are doing.
I know I didn't PM everybody with my address, so if anybody needs it, be sure to post here or PM me and I'll get it to you ASAP.

LM: can you send me your address just to make sure? I'm sure I probably have it somewhere, but it'd be faster to get it from you than to hunt it up. Thanks!
I'm wrapping things up and will have mine in the mail on Saturday at the latest. I really hope mine are okay... I kinda struggled to make small things. This is not a scale that comes naturally to me. _________________ Flickr!

Oh, I need your address, too!!
I had my last "official" day of class today, so I should be able to finish up the last bit this weekend or Monday before digging into my final paper. I'll update when I have them ready to send. _________________ You can't change the world while you're standing outside of it. |

Just a reminder about shipping, from the original instructions:
| Quote: |
Each shipment should be carefully packaged and shipped to me and include, say, $4 or so for me to ship the sorted packages back out. If y'all think we want to insure the packages, maybe a bit more.
|
ETA: Oooh, and if you can, take a photo of your collection of charms before sending them to me so we can post them later. Thanks! I will also really enjoy hearing about people's "methodology" or whatever you'd care to share about the process, both woo-ish and crafty! _________________ "Struggle is obsolete." -- my friend Barbara |

I have been super preoccupied this week, so I will be mailing mine by/on Monday.
Sorry for the delay!

I'm mailing out as soon as I get my jump rings. Shouldn't be longer than a day or two! _________________ "Does that mean I have a superhero complex? Well, maybe. But shouldn't there be more heros in the world anyway?" - Moon

So melmelon (& heather) mailed their charms ... but with international mail, it's a little questionable how long it will take to get here ... and tamka mailed. I haven't received any charms yet, but I'm watching my mailbox.
Anybody else ship theirs yet? I know several of you were *planning* to get packages into the mail, and others have been delayed...
It's Mother's Day weekend, folks, so you may have to add that into your considerations of how much you can get done over the weekend. But let me know (a) if you shipped, what day you sent it, and (b), if you haven't, what day you plan to. _________________ "Struggle is obsolete." -- my friend Barbara |

I was one who had grand plans to get my package in the mail last weekend, but then it rained. And rained. And rained. And rain means Lando takes the car and I bum rides, so I felt bad about bumming a side-trip to the post office.
Mine went out yesterday (Lando's first day off) and I have photos to share, once I find my camera cable.
As far as my contribution goes... they were SO gorgeous together that I hated to let them go! I think I changed my mind four times about what exactly I was going to create, but in the end, I just gave up "planning" and started mindlessly crafting.
My charms celebrate my love of textiles and handwork, as well as rich color symbolism. AND: All of them are a little extra special because Owen gave each one a kiss. No kidding. _________________ Flickr!

I had hoped to get them out yesterday, but got caught up trying to chill out after getting a paper done (yeah, sounds like a really lame excuse, but, trust me, after that paper, it was important!). I did finish them all up today, though, and I'll be sending them out tomorrow.
I'd rather wait to talk about my inspiration until later, though- it might ruin the vibe!! _________________ You can't change the world while you're standing outside of it. |
