I am having a Halloween dance party thing.
My friends and I are usually pretty into indie rock but lately we have been going dancing all the time and we totally get a kick out of some of the things they play, both the over-the-top justin timberlake stuff and also "old" music like the spice girls.
Anyone have other suggestions? I especially love all that hip hop from the '90s. But really bad/good dance tunes would be awesome to.
What do you dance to in your underwear?
(Oh and hi! I used to be Deleria. I had Tsia delete my account because I was too attached to you guys but- obviously even that can't keep me away) _________________ "My power doesn't come from other people's lust for my awesome vagina, thanks." - Enzyme
So, I have a blog now. |

Jock Jams volume one.
I swear, it is the best CD ever. Ever. _________________ greenbean: " It's not a party without the PARTY RATS!"

Some favourite gems of mine:
"Jump Around" by House of Pain
"Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic
"I Like to Move It" by Reel 2 Real
As long as those make it in, you're gonna have some mad booty bumpin' on the go.
ps. - In Canada, you can get these Much Music Dance Mixes -- Dance Mix '93 is effin' sweet, if you can find it. _________________ http://montgomeryfibrearts.wordpress.com/ |

My two fave Justin Timberlake songs that put me in a good mood and make me shake my booty: Senorita and SexyBack.
Black Eyed Peas songs that get me going: My Style, Pump It, and...okay...My Humps is absolutely hilarious. Annoying, but fun.
Livin' On A Prayer is always good for a party. As is Only The Good Die Young (...I was at a party where this was playing, but my friend and I went upstairs to find the bathroom. Friend #2 came upstairs to find us because we were missing Billy Joel!!!! ... he didn't seem to take into consideration that HE was missing Billy Joel by coming to tell us that we were missing Billy Joel. But whatev, haha.)
i'll revisit with more ideas later :) _________________ With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. |
