I blocked my Simmer Dim this week. I love this shawl even tho it is way too humid to wear it now!

I also took a bunch of photos of things I've made that I don't think I posted here yet...

Bergen Cowl

Oh man it's so hot here that having my laptop on is making my hands sweat... not that it will stop me from bringing knitting with me everywhere I ever go!

What've you guys been making?

Lovely shawls!!

I built a fence with my dad at our country house. It turned out pretty great and after some decorating it's now our favourite place for breakfast.

bookselves, great knitting!
klaradetroit, that looks like a lovely place for breakfast.

My something I made is photos. Yesterday my BFF and Mr. J and I went on a photo expedition. I am so happy with how some of these shots turned out. You can see the whole set here but here are some of my favorites:

Love the fence klaradetroit - was it hard?
And Bookselves, I kind of really really want to make the Bergen Cowl now, and i don't even like wearing cowls!
PonyJ - great photographs. I especially like the ones with the shoes. All your pictures look very dream- or movie-like!

SWINTON!!!!!

aliwa, it wasn't to hard, but I have a really handy dad who owns pretty much anything a carpenter coukd need. I mean, we did use four(!) different saws during the project. :)
Also, we make a great team when building stuff. That helps a lot.

I finally got a decent picture of a rug I wove. I finished it a few weeks back, but it was at school being marked for a while:

It's woven at 22 threads per inch, and is 5 feet long. It was an undertaking, but I love how it turned out! It's made of wool and linen, and I drafted the pattern myself.[/img]

Your rug is beautiful Melmont!

Aliwa, did you use a 3D printer for the plates?

Irmavep - at this stage they are just rendered - so it is just a computer image. If we wanted to though, we could print them (I'm considering doing that!)
