Does anyone use anything on their decks, balconies, or what-have-you?

Astro turf, outdoor rugs, those click tiles (either in wood or plastic)?

Tell me about your outdoor flooring!

we have 11 of these tiles.

they're all on the grass in our tiny backyard. 9 make up a flat space for a 4 seater table, and 2 make up a flat space for our little bbq.

i would have liked to get more but they're not that cheap and we rent so we dont want to invest a lot into this space. i like that they're non slip and can be hosed down.

my bff lives in a condo and has a tiny concrete balcony. she just redid it all with outdoor parquet tiles from ikea. i cant comment on how it's holding up but it sure looks cute!

My concrete balcony is covered with three rag rugs. Just ordinary rag rugs for the indoors made with textile, not plastic. We only fold them up a bit when there's a heavy rain and they have been holding up well for two years so far. It's soft and warm when walking barefoot.

We have a plastic outdoor mat/rug thing from world market on the porch, which has a brick patio floor. It feels nice on bare feet and has held up pretty well. It works well for us because you can hose it down if you spill something on it (or, uh, if the dog thinks that he's "outside enough" to do his thing). We got it at the end of a summer for half off. I want to get another one to put in my tree house when it goes on sale again this year (yes, I have a tree house!!!).
