| Wah. The package that was waiting for me at the post office was my passport, which while helpful and wanted, is not nearly as exciting as a swap package. Boo. |
I had the same situation in the summer. I can't remember what I was waiting for, but I was SO JAZZED. Got there, and it was the passport. Yay.... |

I got mine today!! But the photos are on my iPhone, so I'll post them a little later. Yay!
I'm a little stressed that mine (that I sent) doesn't seem to have arrived yet either. It wasn't going that far! |

Yay! I am so glad it made it there!
I sealed it up without putting my note in it, so I wanted to let you know that it's from me.
I mailed it on 10/4 from the US to Canada, if that helps us know that mail to/from US/Canada is pretty slow. That may explain other packages that have not arrived. _________________ I know it's not real, but lunchboxes

Don't feel like you need to put something else together! It'll all be ok. Let's give it a few more days. Do you live in Canada? That may explain why it's taking so long.
I live on a small street and know most of my neighbors. And we have a neighborhood listserv. I can send an email and see if anyone else got it. Send me a pm with your return address and a little bit of a description (e.g., padded envelope or box) so I can include that in my email.
Thanks for being so thoughtful and checking in. _________________ I know it's not real, but lunchboxes

Im so sorry I didn't get to check in earlier. I got it on Wednesday, but haven't had a working phone or Internet until today! I love everything, thank you so much. I totally ate the candy in the car, by myself so I wouldn't have to share. I think dark chocolate and marshmallow is my new favorite combination.
I'm hosting a halloween dinner party next week so the super cute cards will be used for that.
So thank you so much. I'll take photos tonight and try and post them tomorrow. _________________ I truncated my name!

I *finally* got the photos off my phone. I apologize for the fuzziness, but again, phone photos, and it was evening so the lighting wasn't the best.

Starting from the top left corner,
-a container of orange and black nonpareils (why didn't I lay the container down? I don't know)
-a zombie cupcake decorating set (with legs and arms and heads to stick out of the cupcakes)
-a ghostie cookie cutter
-a zombie who has brains that can pop out (see next photo)
-a "keep calm and eat brains" picture, which will go nicely with my "keep calm and eat a cupcake"
-4 buttons. The ghost one says "This is my costume", the skeleton says "oh, snap", the jack-0-lantern says "I'm the treat" and the vampire says "bite me" haha
-and finally an envelope that says I can't open until my birthday (November 2nd). I can only guess what's inside right now! yay!
Thanks so much, anniebeegood!

since my original package got lost in the postal system, i just put a new box in the mail. and instead of going to the post office and getting delivery confirmation, i just put a bunch of stamps on it and left it on my doorstep, so we know this one will get there ;)
srsly, the postal service is so noticeably overwhelmed these days. _________________ And once you've seen it, keeping quiet, saying nothing, becomes as political an act as speaking out. -Arundhati Roy |

Oh no! I'm so sorry that a parcel got lost in the mail. Do you know when this one will get there? Before Halloween?

it should get there saturday. :(
it wasn't as halloween heavy as my original package, and i plan on doing something fall-y but wanted to get something halloween out there.
i have a tracking number, but it's at a dead end. true story, sent it out the same day as my rent, and that took a week and a half to get 10 miles from me, so i think i got the post office on 'one of those days' _________________ And once you've seen it, keeping quiet, saying nothing, becomes as political an act as speaking out. -Arundhati Roy |
