Anyone else?
I missed the swap last year, but some of my favorite songs come from past swaps. I started making some new play lists today for my drive to work, and got super excited about which songs to include and why.

Please tell me I'm not the only music nerd waiting for this year's swap!

Oooh...now I am too! Only 4 more months! :)

But sometimes I feel my tastes are too main-stream for most people. I really love getting all the mixes of indie/local music and stuff, because otherwise I don't know about them but then I feel like my mixes are all cheesy and boring. Oh well! Lol...

I've just been listening to my mixes from the last few years, and thinking about what on earth I would put on one for this year! Let's get on this right in December!!!

No way! I was listening to your mix from 2009? (maybe? I forget which year) on my way to work this morning! I actually don't really listen to the radio or "mainstream" stuff very much, so I like getting it in a mix. Although I must warn everyone that my mix this year will have two Mumford & Sons songs on it, and you'll all just have to deal with the fact that they will have been played to death by December.

Me too! Actually, a confession of sorts: when my partner and I borrow a car sharing car to run an errand or go on a day trip somewhere, we always listen to mainstream pop radio. The cheesier the better. I think most people who know us well would be surprised to hear that, but hey, there's a time and place for everything, right?

I'm interested too! It'd be fun to do a seasonal mix swap too. Autumn is just around the corner, you know.

Yes! I've gotten a bit sidetracked, but I'll set up a sign up and what not over Thanksgiving break.

OOOOOoooo, I love the year in music swap! Time to start thinking of songs! (Um, and buying CDs to burn them onto. I don't think I've played an actual CD in months...)
