- my hand smells like onions. I was rummaging around in the refrigerator for dinner and I must have touched something oniony. It's driving me nuts.
- today I bought two blank notebooks/mini-journals even though I have a million. I cannot stop buying them. I love making lists and I like to have at least 2 lined notepads in my purse at all times.
- I wonder when American Idol starts?
- I need a new ipod. I wonder if I can find a good deal.
- I wish I had raspberries and Reddi Whip. For dessert, that is. _________________ beefy and confused. |

- rubbing onion hands on your stainless steel sink should remove the smell
- I want to eat every last cupcake that I froze in the freezer just so I wouldn't eat them
- I hate 'dieting'
- I hate wearing socks. They feel so constricting

-My fingernails are painted yellow & my toenails are teal. I wonder what it's like to paint one's nails a normalish color?
-I'm watching hockey right now & I hate the announcers. I miss my regular announcers!
-I got a scary movie from Netflix that I really want to watch, but it's dark out so I'm going to wait until tomorrow afternoon. (I'm such a wuss.)
-We need some beer in this house. I'm too lazy to go to the store to pick up some Sam Adams. My cousin recommended this banana nut beer that sounds really gross, though he assures me that it's delicious. Also too lazy to go to the other, slightly farther away store, to buy a bottle of that beer. _________________ Back in the '70s when disco & exorcisms were all the rage, he was the man. |

- Realizing today in a more powerful way than usual that "heartache" can represent itself by physical tightness in your chest that lasts and lasts
- Since it's only January 11 and already I hate snow, I'd better figure out a way to change my attitude about that or it's gonna be a really shitty two more months (at least)
- "Offer Sex and Get Out of the Way" is gonna make me smile for a long time (Thanks, Pinkie, and thanks Ofcr. Pink!)
- Having mixed feelings about a friendship that may be gone, for which I hold at least half the responsibility. But cycling back to that heartache thing, which is partly for not being forgiven for being imperfect.
- Perimenopause sucks. A lot. Even when the symptoms are supposedly "mild." Screw you, hormones! _________________ "Struggle is obsolete." -- my friend Barbara |

My feet hurt. I wonder if Glee will be online yet. If it is, can I be bothered staying up another hour to watch it. I'm glad the decision about the weekend was made for me so I didn't have to decide. I wonder if my friend is annoyed with me or just busy, I hope I wasn't that bad a drunk on Friday night. Speaking of drunk, I hope the person I might like is out on Saturday. Work is going to be fun on Friday with so many people away. I think work guy was looking at my boobs today. I have been so much more social so far this year, must keep it up. Is that rain or is someone in the shower?

I want meat pie too. I guess I will have to learn how to make it.
My office smelled like popcorn on Monday. Made me want to go to the movies.
I got to go out with a friend from HS last night whom I haven't seen in 15 years and it was awesome!!! _________________ "Fun is where you find it" - jackierocket |

Well I was just planning on going to my local baker to pick one up. You guys just can't go to the bakery and get one? You know in the little hot box with the sausage rolls and other delicious pastry items? NOM.
ps it is really late and I have to get up in 5 hours and 45 mins. Dammit. |

sadly, no, the meat pie is not as ubiquitous here as it should be. knowing this, i ate a bunch of them in scotland. and bacon sarnies. and black pudding. mmmmm.
i think i just made the decision to continue wearing the same pants i slept in last night throughout the day today. it's effing cold, and these are the fuzziest warmest pants i own.
hey it just occurs to me that i do have a sewing machine, and a bunch of fleece tha i never got around to making into christmas prezzies. hmmm ....
anyway now i want coffee. and leftover chicken stew from last night. nom. _________________ Specializing in dresses and sanity |

It depends on what part of the country you live in. They are a "thing" in some areas.

lady_stardust - banana bread beer is amazing. do try soon, if you are a fan-o-bananas.
- mmmm beer. i wish i worked in an office that allowed the occasional friday beer.
- i accidentally began to type 'lived' instead of 'worked' in the above thought. freudian slip?
- i just found out about this place downtown that has arcade games, skee ball and sake bombs. sounds dangerous.
- being in bed, covered by my grandma's psychedelic polyester quilt and underneath black microplush bedsheets with two fat cats on top, watching cronenberg's Crash with a big bowl of popcorn and a coke zero >>>> me being in my office and unsure of what big project to tackle next.
- can't wait for my best friend to get back from mexico so we can do a photo shoot with our photog friend. _________________ /\__/\

I should have done all my food shopping in Taj instead of Waitrose today.
I have developed a ridiculous fear of using my sewing machine.
I wonder if a small bowl of soup and one slice of toast should be enough for lunch and I'm just a pig, or if it's actually fine/ normal for me to be absolutely ravenously hungry 4 hours later.
