I have to have the furniture placed just so in the living room so that you can't see the holes in the carpet!

So no!

But, MrVep has said that once I get around to recovering the furniture, then maybe we can get new carpet.

I really should get on to that one...

My mother was known to move around the furniture pretty often. I would love love to wake up in a bed across the room from where I fell asleep. She would move the entire room while I was asleep and I wouldn't wake up. It was quite exciting the next morning.

Just rearranged the living room this weekend, I hadn't done this in a while. I love that it makes me clean up clutter and spots that just aren't working. It helps keep me excited about the furniture I already own because pieces often end up moving into other rooms.

Next room to get rearranged is my dining room. I am moving a piece of furniture from kids room, underutilized, and putting it in place of something that doesn't work in the dining room. AND probably painting it in the process. Should be interesting and will only cost the price of paint and a few hours of my time.

I was just thinking about this thread on Saturday when Mr. Snoopy and I rearranged our living room. We moved the couch away from the bar so now the barstools actually fit where they are supposed to. We also had to move the piano slightly, which is always a pain in the ass, but at least it wasn't across the room this time (plus I just got it tuned and didn't want to ruin the pitch by moving it a lot). A little bit of decluttering and I think it will be about perfect (or at least optimal for what we have).

I read this thread, and moved my living room around. Although, I have only lived in this new place for a couple of weeks, so I am just getting settled in.

There is a bare corner now, so I don't know if I am going to keep things like this or not...

Regularly, I am not a furniture rearrange-er...
