Yeah, that's right, in MARCH. Spring cleaning takes many forms.

I'm occupied at the moment, so I can't go take a picture of the teapot that made me think of this swap. But hey, you can post yours!

Have something that's a perfectly good item, gifted by a well-intended loved one, but which just isn't quite right for you? Post it here, and maybe it'll find where it's meant to be.

(Of course, this goes for just... things, whether they were gifted during some holiday or not. Anything you'd feel funny putting in the Goodwill box but would feel happy about passing to a fellow glitterati.)

Dang! DH wears 32x32s So close!

I have a cloth laundry 'basket' it's a big rectangle that collapses and is teal blue.

I put most of it away. I will have to dig it all back out to post it all.

I have a bagged mix of "molten fudge cake." Although the actual ingredients are vegan, it calls for three eggs to make it. I don't think egg replacer would work for something like that where eggs are the main element of the cake. It's nothing fancy - seems to be mostly flour, sugar and cocoa... but I'll pass it along if anyone would like it. I guess it would be an easy treat some night.

I can't think of what to do with it otherwise. Most of my friends are also vegan, and the ones who aren't don't bake at all.

Finally returning to my own thread!

I started this with this particular item in mind:

Giving this away because I already have a teapot, and because this one was just not my style. But it was given with such good intentions that I'd like it to go to a good home.

Trades are welcome, but I'd be quite content with shipping. I still have the box it came in, so I can send it securely anywhere.

it's such a pretty teapot! you should show them the cat bowl!

i've been trying to find stuff online for the things that i got and don't work for me. it's hard, because i thought i had a "i just don't like anything at import stores" policy, but a lot of the stuff i'm seeing online is *super* cute! i don't know how i managed to get so many things that don't fit with my style.

so, things. i would need to be reimbursed shipping and will send it as cheap as possible (unless you want otherwise). i'd love something rak-y or tradelike in return (just because my world has been so sucky lately and i like mail), but i've received a few just-for-shipping things lately and if i've done that with you or you're not in the space to send something back, that's cool.

things!

If nobody else claims those scissors, I know an elementary art class that would love to have them. They have a similar set, but most of them are kind of bent from several years of use and don't work the best anymore. For some reason, they are one of the most popular supplies in the room. I would even venture to say they are more well-liked than glitter glue!

I'll wait to see if anyone else wants to actually swap for them, though. I'm low on cash right now and could probably only do the cost of shipping. Keep me in mind if they end up destined for the thrift store. ;-)
