| Just a quick halfway point check in to see how people are doing? I am having a lot of fun planning this package--it's giving me a great excuse to go exploring what vegan goodies are available around here! |

I've got about half of my items gathered. For the past few days I've been considering what I still want to make, and actually made a list of possible additions earlier this afternoon. This has been a really fun package to plan and think about! _________________ "It came to betoken the nation's biking and adulation of automobiles!" |

| I'm having a bit of a hold up as one of my favorite places here that I'm planning picking some items up at has been closed for renovation! But they said they should be opening in the next couple weeks (and they also kind of offered me a job!) |

| Giving this thread a little bump, since the mailout is later this week. Vintagehybrid, I saw you are having some holdups--how are other folks doing? Is the 9/30 mailout still okay? I would have no problems pushing back to maybe 10/5 (which would give people another weekend to work on things) if there is a desire for that. Since it's a small swap and I think all the participants have been on glitter for a while I think there's a little room for flexibility if needed. Just let me know! |

My package should be there within 5 days. I opted for delivery confirmation so I can keep track of it.

i just mailed out today, but it's going parcel post. after getting it weighed and priced, i realized i should've just done a flat-rate priority box instead!
do they ever not let you mail something that's fragile, liquid, or perishable? |

Sometimes shipping options are more limited if you have fragile, liquid or perishable items, depending on what they are. I declared that my vegan package had perishables, and all the clerk did was stamp the top. Another time, a post office clerk told me that my package containing nail polish (potentially flammable?) could not go by plane, so I had to take the slower shipping option. _________________ "It came to betoken the nation's biking and adulation of automobiles!" |
