Here's a crappy webcam photo of my one and only, my WeeWoo!
Its a lot brighter and more even-colored irl.
It had to be severely cropped down as its on my lower right hip, and I'm not much for showing my *other* weewoo on the internet. Yeah, its a cartoon from Neopets. It was a graduating and going off to college and being silly kind of thing; no meaning behind it. More will come very soon!
I absolutely LOVE all of the artwork that's been posted here. Next, I want smoething more serious, perhaps like the gorgeous flowers that some of you have. Caropop, I really love the style of your flying heart. Did you draw/find that or did your artist make it up? |

Thanks!
It was a collaboration.
I got the tattoo when I was in college and it was inspired by the artwork on a U2 single http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_God_Will_Send_His_Angels
(I was in a hugely obsessive U2 phase but really loved this song and the art and even though I'm no longer in the obsessive phase, still just love it all)
So I took the single to the tattoo parlor with me and was talking with the studio's artist (a tattoo artist in training) about it and he just kind of felt inspired to take that feeling and do something new with it--only he apparently felt that I needed something less wimpy or more punk or something because the first one he drew was very very spiky. So we went back and forth several times while my friend was getting her tattoo until we reached a point where we both very happy with the image. The tattoo artist took charge with the shading, which I love, and the blue 'aura' was one thing that I really wanted but the tattoo artist really loved as well. _________________ country cookin' makes you good lookin'

I don't have a good picture of my other tattoo, but it's a yellow crown inside a purple heart on my inner right forearm. |

This isn't everything, but the best I can do while I switch all my files over to the new computer. I also don't have pics, but directly behind my ears, on the bone, I have stars and hearts.

Sunday I got a version of a Sacred Heart on the inside of my other bicep to kind of compliment this one. _________________ I pray to be like the ocean, with soft currents, maybe waves at times. More and more, I want the consistency rather than the highs and the lows.

I'm kind of embarassed to show a photo of it.. It's not the best tattoo job and it needs some serious touching up. I keep telling myself that I'm going to put some cash aside and just go do it one day, but it's been a couple of years now. _________________ country cookin' makes you good lookin'

Sorry about the awkward position that makes my arm look a billion feet long, and the backwards orientation of the characters - I used Photobooth to take this:
It means "warrior." I got it a couple months after I finished chemo, and about a month after my last surgery.
I'd like to add to it - maybe other characters in the same style as big things happen in my life, or maybe something to symbolize when I reach my 2 year mark. I don't really know yet, but for now I like that it's small and simple. |

I got this last June, the tape stands for analog sound (warm, fuzzy, happy), I'm training to be an audio engineer so I had to pay homage to the old school!
The Om symbol, from when you meditate and pronounce that syllable, every cell in your body vibrates.
So combined, they create awesome on my left wrist :)
PS- Wrist tattoos feel really good! The only kind of uncomfortable part is when they go across the artery, but even that isn't bad. Good luck!! Be sure to show us when you get it!!! _________________ (Human sass. Robotic precision.)

I loooove tattoos. Everyone's are so beautiful!
My Maya hieroglyphics on my arms. They represent water, woman and sky on my left arm, and fire, heart (middle/center), and moutain on my right arm.

And my rooster on my hip. It represents silliness. Yes, I have a cock. :)
