yeah i just put spinach in the smoothie i had this morning (it was frozen spinach even) and you can't taste it.

i'm sure it isn't good for you, but i've ground coffee beans and put them in smoothies before. they are a little gritty but still tasty.

also i have added chai mix (liquid stuff like oregon chai) to smoothies. tasty! (usually bananas, vanilla soymilk, chai, and coffee)

I wanted to add that when I'm done making a smoothie, or using my blender for anything, I put a squirt of dish soap in, fill it about 1/3 with hot water, blend it until I see the bubbles get almost to the top, then stick it in the sink to wash later.

ETA
If you mix a packet of hot cocoa mix and a scoop of peanut butter it makes a really good smoothie.

I just made an apple pie smoothie.

I made applesauce ice cubes, tossed them in the blender with some ginger, cinnamon, a bit of molasseses, and milk and blended. It is really yummy!

Yes! I found an awesome vintage Oster blender at a thriftstore for $8! I took at with us when some friends and I went on a semi camping vacation. I was deemed smoothie queen!
I made some normal strawberry/banana and berry smoothies...but then pulled out the big guns for my new wonder smoothie recipe:

ahemmm!

THANKSGIVING SMOOTHIE:

a few chunks of cooked sweet potato
a large marshmallow
orange juice
a touch of brown sugar
plain yogurt

:)
