you love someone, and you can't tell them? or, for when you've just had to part and it's soul-crushing, those kinds of songs.
not for me, for a friend. no, really. ;)
so far, i got...
the blower's daughter, damien rice
old love, eric clapton (unplugged, of course ;)
can't make you love me, bonnie raitt
i'm on fire, the boss
for no one, the beatles
i know, fiona
so broken, bjork
any time, brian mcknight
would love some more recent music, especially... along the lines of the yeah yeah yeahs, or the blow? but anything. _________________ If you experience chronic difficulties in a particular area of your life, there’s a strong chance that the root of the problem is a failure to accept reality as it is. |

Love Ridden by Fiona Apple is another great one, as is Coffee and Conversation by Joni Mitchell. _________________ With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. |

The whole album "Storm" by Heather Nova.
I think I listened to this 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks the last time I was really heartbroken. Rather depressing and oh so good! _________________ Oh gravity, thou art a heartless bitch |

"Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" by Bob Dylan
"Landslide" -original by Fleetwood Mac but I like the Dixie Chicks cover best
I listened to "I Know" on repeat for DAYS last time I was heartbroken.
I'll try to think of more. I know I have some choice ones. _________________ What can't that centaur woman do? |
