I just ordered a pair of shoes...the total cost was $14.79 INCLUDING overnight shipping.

The pairs on the first pages are super expensive, I searched by price, low to high.

For all of the the Canadian residents who will no doubt open this thread to great disappointment (no shipping outside the US, as usual!) here is a great Alberta-based shoe site that I recently came across:

ah, it's an offshoot of amazon. I spent a while looking at shoes on amazon a week or so ago, and I was thinking that things were looking awfully familiar.

It's a good interface, though. I like that you can shop by multiple sizes.

woohoo! Thanks for reminding me about Amazon! Now, a question for you all: should I get these in the dark brown or the black?

On Zappos somebody who reviewed these said the dark brown was dark enough that it looked good with black clothes, but I'm not sure...I just want the most versatile one.

I love the dark brown. But I've been moving away from black and into brown/grey as my stand by neutral lately.

Either way, my fat calved and broke self is very jealous! Those are lovely!

ah! thank you! i thought they all looked familiar, too, but couldn't figure out why. i usually look at amazon shoes every friday during their "friday sale" because you can sometimes stumble across some really great bargains. the endless ones looked pretty much the same so i was left scratching my head. now there's an explanation!

AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazon! Since I work in the book industry, it is not unheard of to visit Amazon to get book info (US prices, ISBNs, etc) & a couple of weeks ago I realized that they sell lots more than just books! they sell prada! It's a totally work safe guilt zone for me! All day long I sit & dream of living an incredibly decadent life!

friday sale? Say whaaaat?
