Sometimes sweaters can be trimmed with no adverse consequences. A sort of splice here: the turtleneck part of a light merino sweater was neatly snipped off just above the neck seam. The severed piece was ideal for fashioning two <a href="http://loganjayne.com/images/sweater_fix.jpg">sleeve extensions</a> -- thumb holes and reattachment optional.</p>

Responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting research for stories.
2. Help me coordinate a variety of projects which will mostly involve contacting artists, scheduling & organizing details.
3. Respond to email!
4. Writing assignmentsboth assigned and those based on your own interests.
5. Other stuff that comes up.

Workload will be about 6-10 hours a week and there is absolutely no pay, but the glory, oh the glory

The <a href="http://www.newschool.edu/parsons-ma-fashion-studies/" target="_blank">M.A. Fashion Studies</a> At Parsons The New School for Design presents:

A screening to celebrate the new issue of<a href="http://www.fashionprojects.org/" target="_blank"> Fashion Projects</a>. The screening features a range of short experimental films on the topic of fashion and memory-the topic of the new issue. They include films by the British-based fashion design duo Boudicca, Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf, designer Shelley Fox, and fashion photographer Laura Sciacovelli. The screening is curated by Tamsen Schwartzman and Francesca Granata.

It will take place Friday the 23rd of April at 6 pm in the Wollman Hall, 65 West 12th Street. (PS: It will start promptly!). A reception will follow the screening.

The event is free and open to the public!</p>
