Tiletoy - the future Lego?

Tiletoy - the future Lego?

Tiletoy is a modular, electronic game prototype for tangible LED game tiles. By arranging the electronic tiles, players can engage themselves in various kinds of game play, ranging from fast-paced arcade style games to puzzle an learning games.

For the developers, Tuomo Tammenpää and Daniel Blackburn, Tiletoy is a tribute to open source hardware. Both the source code and the hardware will be made available via open licenses. This will allow anyone interested to create their own applications and games.

Tip - garlic press

Tip - garlic press

I really like cooking with garlic, the flavor actually grows on me the more I use it. But instead of using powdered or jarred garlic, I like fresh garlic because it adds a much deeper flavor. And because I'm not very patient, I like to use a garlic press. You don't even have to peel the garlic before pressing, just make sure to remove the peel before you press another clove. And to get that pungent smell off your hands? Just scrub them with some fresh lemon juice and sea salt.
