I'm always trying to make friends with spiders. I figure if they are here, they are eating other bugs, and so if I kill spiders it's like increasing the population of all other creepy crawlies. Sometimes I do catch them and wrangle a local to do some spider identification. Still, I'm working on the friend thing. these beautiful ceramics help.

Crafty Wonderland comes to PDX!

For all you denizens of the Great Northwest, Portland will soon have its own monthly, year-round craft fair.

It's called Crafty Wonderland, and it's the brainchild of Portland Super Crafty. Beginning April 9th, Crafty Wonderland will take place on the second Sunday of each month. You can shop for amazing handmade lovelies, created by local crafters.
