It Can Change - Clothing Project
This is a great project that was executed once before in Kassell, Germany by It Can Change, a collaborative art group based in the Bay Area. They ask artists to make 'artworks that can be displayed or transported on/in/by the body of a person' and they redistribute the work from the gallery. Send them your stuff by October 14th to be included! For more information and images of work produced in the last Clothing Project visit the It Can Change website.> helena on 10/08/04 #
Knitknit Launch and show
Renegade craft mag Knitknit is about to launch it's new issue with an party and show in Chicago's ThreeWalls gallery. The mag's jacket wil be knit by hot textile designer Liz Collins, there are articles on political textiles and an a little quilt show review from me. In ThreeWalls collabrative clothing by Liz and Gary Graham which I hear would make Abbey Hoffman proud as well as films, fashion and MORE will be shown. Miss it and regret.> Scott on 10/05/04 #
